This project was handed over in May 2010 after 18 months of continuous work on site. It was our first experience working for Mansell Build, but our approach and ease at which we worked with their team and their methods helped us become their preferred groundworks contractor for further defence projects both in Lancashire & Yorkshire. We are now working on a further project at Greater Manchester Police Headquarters with prospective projects commencing in Rochdale and Liverpool.
The 18 months spent on site included our site engineer being present at all times to liaise with Mansell and set out every aspect of the project. Works included a full drainage and ducting system being installed that included state of the art petrol interceptors and separators. Further to this all reinforced foundations and slabs were formed and finished, roads and carparks formed and stoned ready for tarmac, and the final finishes of kerbs, edgings and flagging were also completed by ourselves.
